The *Azuma Bukuro* (Azuma bag) originated when a practical bag, inspired by Western-style bags, was created and brought to Kyoto. There, it came to be known as the "Azuma Bukuro," reflecting the ingenuity of the people of Edo.

Drawing inspiration from the original Azuma Bukuro, we’ve updated the design for modern use by adding features such as adjustable shoulder straps and practical pockets integrated into the seams—functions not found in the original version.
